Puerto Ordaz
One of the unique opportunities that Puerto Ordaz has to offer is at the turning point of the mighty Orinoco River - the Angel Falls canyon has the best possible view of this 3,212 feet plummet of water, the World's highest waterfall.
The Canaima National Park offers exotic and breathtaking sights - 600 million years of erosion has formed a skyline dominated by multicoloured 'tepuys' (table mountains) - a veritable Lost World. One enormous opening along the Auyan Tepuy is the Devil's Canyon, where waters flowing from Angel, Churun and La Cortina Falls converge to form the Churun River.
