Port of Spain
In exotic Port of Spain you'll meet architecture from around the world - from Hindu temples to gingerbread rococo.
Trinidad, home of carnival and the steel-band, is an astonishing melting-pot of peoples and cultures - African, Oriental, Indian, European and New World. Birds are a major attraction here, too, and this large island offers a secure habitat for over 400 colourful species, most famous among them the glorious scarlet ibis.
