This tour will allow us to experience the world famous magnificent ruins of the walled city of Tulum which rise high above the crystal blue Caribbean Sea. We will stand in awe as we view and explore the archaeological monuments of this ceremonial center, which were left behind as a reminder of this truly incredible ancient Mayan culture.

This tour will allow us to experience the world famous magnificent ruins of the walled city of Tulum which rise high above the crystal blue Caribbean Sea. We will stand in awe as we view and explore the archaeological monuments of this ceremonial center, which were left behind as a reminder of this truly incredible ancient Mayan culture.We will enjoy a scenic drive to Tulum while our guide offers us a colourful narration and explains the history and life in the Yucatan as well as the mysterious Mayan culture. (Approximately 1 ½ hours).As we arrive at the ruins, our guide will escort us through the walled Mayan city and share the secrets, facts, myths and legends of this long forgotten society. Marvel over the 60 restored temples and secrets that are hidden within these sacred walls by the use of mysterious hieroglyphic writings. We can visit the Temple of the Frescos, Temple of the Descending God, the House of the Chultun and the House of the Columns.Our tour will end with a breathtaking view of the Caribbean Sea where the towering El Castillo, 40 feet above the sea is.Please note the grounds of the ruins consist of uneven limestone and loose stones, therefore we do not recommend this tour to people with wheelchairs or walking difficulties. We advise passengers wear comfortable, non-slip shoes. There is a 9-minute walk from the parking lot to the entrance of the ruins and back. A tram is available to and from the ruins for guests that do not want to walk. The tram ride is not part of the tour and passengers take the tram at your own risk and expense. The tram ride cost US $2.00 paid locally. (Correct at time of print). If you wish to use a video camera at the ruins there is a fee of US $5-$8 (correct at time of print). We recommend passenger bring insect repellent and sun protection. A light packed lunch will be provided.
