This tour will take us to the various interesting sites in Trois-Ilets and the South part of the island; La Pagerie Estate & Museum where Napoleon’s wife Josephine was born in 1763, the Sugar Cane Museum and the historical site of Village De La Poterie where craftsman are still at work.Continuing on we drive along a picturesque road through a genuine tropical “dry forest” to the fishing villages of Anses d’Arlets, Anse a I’Ane and Grande Anse before reaching a fantastic viewpoint of Diamond Rock (Rocher du Diamant). This rock is like the Gibraltar of the Caribbean, rising some 183 metres (600 feet) out o the ocean, four kilometres (two-and-a-half miles) off the coast. There is some time to take some photos. We then proceed back to our awaiting ship in Fort De France.
