Leaving beautiful Half Moon Bay, we will take an approximate 30 minute ride on a semi-submarine. Although the craft does not submerge, we sit in an underwater observatory a few feet below the water’s surface.

Leaving beautiful Half Moon Bay, we will take an approximate 30 minute ride on a semi-submarine. Although the craft does not submerge, we sit in an underwater observatory a few feet below the water’s surface. We can admire the beautiful coral reef through large clear-glass windows, while a knowledgeable crew member makes informative observations. Hopefully we should see plenty of tropical fish. Following a transfer of about 10 minutes, we arrive at West End Village, a small seaside tourist village. We will enjoy around an hour and a half of free time for shopping or beach time. Before heading back to our ship, we will visit the only Cameo Factory in the Americas. Enjoy watching master craftsmen create both classical and modern cameo masterpieces. We are then transferred back to our ship. Do not forget your swimming costume, towel and sun protection! (It may save time to come already wearing your costume, under your clothes). What marine life may be seen during the semi-submarine ride is obviously unpredictable, as is the clarity of the water at the time of our call.
