From the pier we will take a short transfer through the scenic interior of Antigua to the quaint fishing village of Seatons. Here the professional staff at Stingray City will greet us.After a briefing we will be provided with snorkel equipment and then transported by a small boat to Barge Reef, where we will find calm, crystal-clear open waters, and home of many Southern Stingrays. Staff will assist us to play, feed and swim with the tame stingrays. The waters are only 3-6 feet deep, so even non-swimmers can enjoy the rays.The amazing animals will surprise us with their gentleness. These once feared ‘beasts’ would find a special new place in our heart and provide us with unforgettable memories.Once back at Stingray City, we can rinse off in the freshwater showers and enjoy a refreshing complimentary rum or fruit punch, before heading back to our awaiting ship.Children must be over the age of 4 years and accompanied by an adult. Not recommended for pregnant ladies. Come already wearing your swimming costume, and don’t forget a towel. For the safety of the stingrays, do not wear jewelry, watches or suntan lotion in the water. We cannot guarantee how many stingrays will be seen.
