This amazing tour allows us to experience the 2 premier attractions in the picturesque turquoise waters around Grand Turk; pristine coral reef snorkelling and stingrays at play! Our tour begins at the pier where we will board a snorkelling boat, where our crew will provide us with snorkelling equipment as well as a safety briefing. Our first snorkelling stop is a private, untouched reef off the coast of Grand Turk. This secluded snorkelling haven will be ours for approximately an hour to enjoy. Filled with pristine corals, sea fans, sponges and of course the bright tropical fish life of the Caribbean. Our experienced guide will be sure to introduce us to two of the reef’s famous residents – Shaun, a 3.5 foot docile nurse shark, and Harry, a 3 foot curious barracuda who watches the antics of the vast array of vibrant Caribbean fish all day long. Next, we will enjoy a short ride and some refreshments to the stingray playground! Stingrays will greet us as we enter the water, softly swimming past with a gentle wave of their wide wings. These friendly, wild Atlantic Stingrays will let us stroke their soft underbellies and play with them in their own little playground. The water is shallow and crystal clear – a perfect spot for the memorable photograph! We will then take a short ride back to our awaiting ship. Please be aware that this tour involves a certain amount of physical effort and is not suitable for those passengers with very limited mobility. Participants do not have to snorkel. Participants should be agile enough to get on and off the boat via a ladder to snorkel. We will be sailing for a total of around 2½ hours with 2 snorkelling trips each lasting approximately 55 minutes. Come already wearing your swimming costumes, underneath casual clothes, and do not forget your towel and sun protection. Waterproof footwear is also recommended. Snorkel equipment is provided. This tour is not recommended to less confident swimmers or children under the age of 8. What marine life may be seen is obviously unpredictable.
