Departing from the port of Malaga, our coach will take the road following the coastline until we reach Marbella, the most cosmopolitan of the Costa del Sol’s resorts and, certainly, the choice of the rich and famous. Set against the stunning backdrop of ‘La Concha’ mountain, Marbella is a mixture of old and new, with stylish apartments lining the seafront while typical Andalucian houses are to be found along the picturesque alleys of Marbella’s old town.Once in Marbella, we will stroll through the city streets and while we admire the white façade houses with their balconies we will be able to feel the atmosphere of the south of Spain. We will be delighted when visiting the beautiful ‘Plaza de los Naranjos’ at the old quarter; meaning ‘Orange Plaza’, it is aptly named and especially lovely when the orange blossoms are in bloom, surrounded by restaurants and cafés making it a perfect place to unwind and watch the world go by.We will continue to Puerto Banus, an enchanting port that became one of the most famous marinas in Europe. It was founded in 1960 and got the name from its builder ‘Don José Banus’. Nowadays, Puerto Banus is synonymous with wealth, fashion and glamorous parties. It is home to the largest yacht marina in Spain, with more than 1,000 berths – many luxurious yachts are berthed here, such as the one owned by the King of Saudi Arabia. Renowned boutiques, fine restaurants and cafés complete this luxurious environment. Please note that this tour involves about 1 ½ hours of walking in Marbella; cobbled paths and slight gradients will be encountered.
