TOUR I - GARDEN TOUR
Excursions
- 4 hours
- 2.5 Hours of walking
Our first stop will be at the rural park of Doramas. From here we continue to Jardín Viera & Clavijo, the largest botanical garden in Spain. Located in Tafira, the garden consists of approximately 2,000 plant species from the archipelago, of which more than 500 are indigenous to the island. The objective of the garden is to educate the population on the conservation and protection of the island’s natural resources.
Next we travel to Arucas, where we will find numerous landscaped parks and gardens. Upon arrival, we shall visit Jardín de la Marquesa, which has an extensive collection of Canarian and tropical plants and banana groves, and makes it an obligatory stop for nature lovers.
Following our visit of the gardens, we re-board our tour coach for the return journey to our awaiting ship.
