TOUR B - GOMERA LANDSCAPE & JARDIN TECINA

    Excursions

    • 4.5 hours
    • Limited Capacity

A stop will be made at a viewpoint overlooking the very typical village of Hermigua, before we proceed in a southerly direction into the breathtaking park.

During our decent towards the coastline, we pass through the village of Alajero before arriving at the Jardín Tecina Hotel, which overlooks the village of Playa de Santiago. The hotel is beautifully situated on the hillside above the cliffs. Upon arrival, refreshments will be served on the lovely terrace or in one of the lounges.

After the brief rest, we shall set off on a short walk through the hotel grounds. We will no doubt be impressed by the abundance of colourful flowers and plants, which seem like an oasis in this otherwise rocky and arid landscape.

Upon our arrival to San Sebastian, time permitting, a stop will be made on the hillside above the capital, for an opportunity to take a photo of our ship and San Sebastian – a lasting memory of our trip around this beautiful island.

TOUR NOTES: This tour involves approximately two hours of walking, mostly over flat, even ground, although in the gardens of the hotel it may be uneven in places. There are approximately eight steps to negotiate at the viewpoint overlooking Hermigua, and a few steps at the hotel. Passengers not wishing to participate on the walk around the gardens can instead have free time at the hotel. Please note that we will travel along steep, winding roads on this tour, therefore it may not be suitable for passengers who suffer from vertigo.
