Our coach will stop next to Playa del Carmen or Playa Grande. The beach is approximately one kilometre long and 100 metres wide with dark, fine volcanic sand. We will have approximately three and a half hours of free time here, to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. For those of us wishing to soak up the sunshine, we may wish to rent a sun lounger and umbrella or for the more adventurous amongst us we may want to try our hand at one of the variety of water sports on offer!

Feeling refreshed, we shall rejoin our tour coach and return to our awaiting ship.

TOUR NOTES: For your reference, changing facilities are available on the beach along with toilets and showers – these are public facilities so we are unable to guarantee what condition these facilities will be in. We suggest you come in casual clothes with your swimwear underneath. Don’t forget to bring a towel and adequate sun protection. Refreshments are available to purchase from the many bars and cafés near the beach (this will be at your own expense). Sun loungers and umbrellas are available to hire, at an additional cost. This tour may not be escorted, therefore we ask that all guests exercise caution in regards to sea and bathing conditions.
