We will have a short transfer to the bike rental shop to collect our equipment and prepare to set out on a route of approximately 25 kilometres (16 miles).

Starting off, our tour takes us through Rønne. We then follow a scenic route – partly along the disused rail track and partly on forest paths – with our first stop at Nyker Round Church, which is the smallest on the island (viewed from the outside only). We then continue past fields and farmhouses before stopping for well deserved refreshments – a cup of tea or coffee with a Danish pastry. We will then return through the forest to Rønne. We will leave our bikes and have the choice to either remain in town longer or return straight to our ship (the return is by shuttle bus).

TOUR NOTES: Participants in this tour must be fairly active and able to keep up with the rest of the group throughout the tour. Bicycle helmets are compulsory. The minimum age to participate is 12 years, and all children must be accompanied by an adult. All participants must sign an insurance waiver. Please note that shuttle buses are used to transport us at the start and end of the tour – there may be a short wait.
