    SEA ANGLING - TOUR D

    Excursions

    • 3 Hours
    • Minimum of 6 and maximum of 8 passengers

Join us on a deep sea angling adventure from the port of Flateyri in Onundarfjordur - one of the most well known fishing towns in the country, where the rich fishing grounds are only a stone's throw away. Our experienced captain will take us to a perfect spot for fishing and give us advice on how best to catch a fish!

The boat used is especially equipped for the purpose and all the tackle we need awaits us onboard. The most commonly caught fish are cod, catfish and haddock among others. If we are lucky, we might even catch a giant halibut!

This tour is not only fun and rewarding, it is also suitable for people of all ages. The crystal clear air and the picturesque Onundarfjordur add to the experience.

TOUR NOTES: We will have a drive of approximately 30 minutes to and from the boat. The boat is equipped with a toilet and has a partly covered deck. Sensible footwear (there is a gangway and approximately eight steps to board the boat) and warm, waterproof clothing (layers are best) should be worn. Life jackets are provided, and a safety briefing will be given. This tour is open to passengers not wishing to fish but simply wishing to enjoy the magnificent surroundings (the price remains the same). The catch will remain with the boat. For information, we will be at sea for approximately an hour and a half. The boat used may not be for our exclusive use – so members of the public may join us.
