This tour starts from the ship’s landing stage, from where local caiques (boats) will transfer us to Athenios port (approximately 15 minutes). We then proceed by coach to the Prehistoric Museum of Fira that houses finds from the excavations at Akrotiri archaeological site.

This tour starts from the ship’s landing stage, from where local caiques (boats) will transfer us to Athenios port (approximately 15 minutes). We then proceed by coach to the Prehistoric Museum of Fira that houses finds from the excavations at Akrotiri archaeological site. En route to Fira Town, we continue into the vineyards of Antoniou and visit a local winery for wine tasting. Once we arrive in Fira, our guide will show us where the cable-car station is (ticket included in the price of the tour), after which he/she says goodbye and our time is our own until we decide to return to Scala Quay (where our tenders are berthed), using our cable-car ticket.

Please note that tour participants are kindly requested to exchange their shore excursion ticket for a cable-car ticket (for the return) during disembarkation. In case of unfavourable weather conditions, the tour will commence from Fira Town. This tour involves approximately 40 minutes of walking.
