Our experienced skipper and knowledgeable guide will provide us with a wealth of information that will intrigue and entertain. Every voyage is unique!
After a short introduction, we depart Invergordon Harbour and whizz eastwards. Along the way we look for Harbour Porpoise which frequent the area year round. Passing the small historic village of Cromarty, on the way to Cromarty Firth, and then onwards to the Moray Firth we shall pass bird colonies, cliff coastline, WWI and WWII gun emplacements and other points of scenic and historic interest. We may encounter dolphins and if we are lucky we may even spot a minke whale which frequent this area during the summer months. If conditions allow, a hydrophone will be used to listen to a variety of underwater sounds.
After an exhilarating trip we will return to the harbour and our awaiting ship.
