Dover's iconic White Cliffs have been a hive of seafaring activity for thousands of years. Today excellent road and high speed rail connections make the town easily accessible from across the UK. Dover Cruise Terminal has fast and efficient check-in desks, a spacious departure area with plenty of seating and a café-bar to ensure an enjoyable pre-cruise experience.

From M25 Clockwise

- Exit the M25 at Junction 3 (sign posted Maidstone, Channel Tunnel, Dover & M20).

- Join the M20 and continue for approximately 50 miles until Junction 13, where the motorway merges into the A20.

- Continue on the A20 for approximately 9 miles into Dover.

From M25 Anticlockwise

- Exit the M25 at Junction 5 (signed Maidstone, Channel Tunnel, Dover, M26 (M20).

- Join the M26 and then join the M20 at Junction 3.

- Continue on the M20 for approximately 40 miles until Junction 13, where the motorway merges into the A20.

- Continue on the A20 for approximately 9 miles into Dover.

From the M20/A20 you will be able to see your cruise ship alongside the terminal as you approach Dover. The terminal will be clearly sign posted from the A20 and is only some 100m off the roundabout exit.

If you are approaching from the M2/A2 direction then just follow the signs for the Dover Western Docks (please do not enter the Eastern Docks) along the A20 dual carriageway until you pick up the signs for the cruise terminal.

When booking your parking please have the following information to hand:

  • Registration number
  • Vehicle make and model
  • Plus any required assistance which may need to be noted

If you have booked and pre-paid car parking with CPS, you will be advised at the time of booking what documentation will be sent and required to present on arrival at the port. 

If you have booked a cruise that includes complimentary car parking, you're still required to book a car parking space. Fred. Olsen will issue a complimentary voucher 2 to 3 weeks before sailing and this will be posted directly, or via your travel agent.This complimentary voucher must be presented to car park staff upon arrival. Regrettably, if guests forget this voucher they will be required to pay the full ‘on the day’ rate, which cannot be reimbursed by Fred. Olsen.

High speed trains operate between London and Dover Priory station with a journey time of just over an hour. The Western Docks is easily accessible via taxi, or a 25-minute walk.
