Passengers travelling by rail to Newcastle should alight at Newcastle Central Station. The Port of Tyne run a complimentary shuttle service to/from the International Ferry Terminal from the Central Station, but with no fixed schedule. Taxis are easily accessed just outside the station. It takes approximately 20 minutes to get from the Railway Station to the Port of Tyne in a Taxi. The nearest Metro station is Percy Main, but is a good 15 minutes walk away.

Please note that there is a coach service from Newcastle main Station to the International Ferry Terminal in Newcastle. This service is payable and MUST be pre booked.
