Embarkation

Embarkation is the beginning of your adventure, and the following information is to ensure that the start of your holiday is as smooth as possible. We want to ensure that your boarding experience is as relaxing as the cruise itself.

Arrival

Embarkation at UK ports generally begins at approximately 1400hrs, although please check your ticket pack for your exact embarkation time. If you arrive before your designated check-in time you be may refused entrance to the cruise terminal. For your own comfort please therefore plan your journey accordingly.

Luggage
On arrival at the port you will hand your baggage over to one of our many porters, before making your way to check in and relax in the waiting lounge. The next time you see your luggage will be when it arrives in your cabin. Leaving you to relax, and embark, without the hassle of carrying your baggage.

Embarkation

The ship will board deck by deck, and once you deck has been called it will be time to for embarkation to begin. The anticipation builds as you make your way to the ship, stopping along the way to have you photograph taken by our professional photographer. Once on board you can make your way to your cabin where your luggage will be waiting for you.

New to Cruising/ Priority Boarding
If you are new to cruising we offer priority boarding and introduction to senior officers. To find our more about our new to cruise programme, click here.  Please note that priority boarding is also available for Silver and Gold Oceans members. For Gold members we also offer personalized luggage labels, as well as a welcome aboard gift.

Documentation
Please remember to have your travel documents and passport available for check-in.  It is a requirement that you take your passport and holiday insurance with you. Please ensure that the coloured baggage labels provided with your travel documents are completed and firmly fixed to your baggage. This is essential to ensure that your baggage will arrive in your cabin and be waiting for you.

Suite passengers
Those guests who have booked a suite can now choose to check-in early and join us for an exclusive complimentary lunch on-board*.  By the time you have finished your meal, your suite will be ready for you.
*This benefit is not available on Deluxe and Junior Suites (DS, BJ & JS grades).
