Golf

On selected Canaries, Mediterranean, Baltic, and Caribbean cruises on Braemar, Black Watch, Boudicca and Balmoral our Flagship Golf programme is available. The package includes:

  • Four rounds of golf at leading golf clubs, including green fees and transportation to and from the ship.
  • Welcome party for golfers and partners.
  • Free practice facilities on board.
  • Up to five tuition sessions on board with our resident PGA golf professional.
  • End of cruise prize giving.

Courses which are included will appeal to keen golfers of all handicaps. Please remember a valid handicap certificate is required, as is golf insurance.

Most golfers prefer to use their own clubs and on fly/cruises you may take one set of clubs in addition to your normal hold allowance. However, if you do not want to take your own clubs, it is possible to hire clubs at most courses. To practice on board there are outdoor nets on Balmoral, Black Watch, Braemar, and Boudicca. This facility is available to all passengers. Clubs and balls are available from Reception.

For operational reasons, places on the Flagship Golf package are strictly limited, so we advise to book early to avoid disappointment. To reserve your place, please indicate at time of booking and the charge will be added to your invoice, or call our Administration Department on 01473 742424.

Prices are as follows:

  • £350pp for Canary Island, Mediterranean and Baltic Cruises.
  • £400pp for Caribbean fly/cruises.

Gratuities

Gratuities to crew, drivers, guides etc. ashore are not included in the cost of your holiday. We’re confident however that you’ll wish to reward staff on board for their service, although tipping is entirely at your discretion. As a general rule £2.00 per passenger per day for your cabin stewardess and the same amount for your restaurant waiter is always very much appreciated.
