21 Sep 2010
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is pleased to announce the appointment of London-based Fox Kalomaski as its new advertising and marketing communications agency, with effect from 1st September 2010.
Fox Kalomaski will work closely with Fred. Olsen to develop fully-integrated communications, covering online and offline, from brand advertising and direct marketing, to e-mail, search and social media.
Fred. Olsen’s Marketing Manager, Mike Bird, explained the choice by saying:
“We were impressed by Fox Kalomaski’s strategic approach to Fred. Olsen’s brand communications, backed by strong creative work.”
“Through this partnership, we will be well placed to continue to differentiate and further develop the Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ brand in the highly competitive cruise industry, both to the travel trade and consumers.”
The new campaign, due to commence in January 2011, will target Fred. Olsen’s core audience of over-60s, but will also reach out to a broad demographic, raising awareness among people who might enjoy the relaxed, traditional style of a Fred. Olsen cruise.
Gary Jacobs, CEO of Fox Kalomaski, said of the new contract:
“The Fred. Olsen brand has great heritage and is well loved by its loyal customers, and we look forward to helping to make the brand even stronger in a fast-growing and competitive industry sector.”
