Cruise notes: your travel documents
Your Tours Booklet
Everything you need to know about Shore Tours for your cruise. We’ll send it to you about eight weeks before your cruise sets off. Do take a look as soon as you receive it so you don’t miss out on the best tours and other important information.
Once you’ve given us your must-have travel information on the Guest Information Form (this can be found in My Cruises, once you've made your booking) we can send you your cruise tickets. We’ll send the tickets to you by email (so we will need an email address for you) between 14 and 21 days prior to departure.* Alternatively your tickets can be sent to you by post.
Please be aware that we’re unable to send you your cruise tickets without the completed Guest Information Form, so please don’t forget to complete the information online or send it to us, as you may not be able to board your cruise ship otherwise.
Luggage tags will be sent separately to you, approximately 3 weeks prior to departure.
*During busy times, public holidays or if there are postal strikes, the dispatch date of your tickets may change, but we will get them to you! We would recommend receiving your tickets by email as this is the quickest and most efficient option.
It’s just the normal holiday rules to follow when bringing your passport on board a cruise. Make sure it’s full and valid. Some destinations need six months validity from the date you return to the UK.
(If you’re an EC citizen, travelling wholly within the EC a national identity card is accepted in lieu of a passport).
Special passport advice (St. Petersburg, Russia)
You’ll need your passport with you at all times in St.Petersburg, as you’ll pass through immigration when leaving and getting back onto your cruise ship.
Take a look at the latest travel advice and information here.
If you need a visa on your cruise, we’ll highlight this on your confirmation invoice. Do double-check with your travel organiser, Embassy or Consulate if you are unsure of anything. It is the responsibility of all Non-British passport holders to ensure that they are in possession of a valid passport, and any necessary entry visa or permits for their chosen cruise. If you are unsure whether you are required to obtain such documents you MUST contact your travel organiser, or the relevant Embassy or Consulate for advice.
If you don’t have the right travel documents, you may be refused carriage, or you may be subject to fines by local immigration authorities.
We don’t want you to miss out on your holiday, so please always check if you’re not sure what you need to bring along.
