On-Board Leisure Facilities
A cruise holiday is the time to truly enjoy those little pleasures in life.
A cruise holiday is the perfect opportunity to treat yourself in a way that you don't neccessarily have time to do at home. Whether it's the chance to perfect your golf swing, enjoy a bit of pampering in our spa, or just relax on deck with a book and occasional dip in the Jacuzzi - a Fred. Olsen cruise has it all!
Atlantis Spa and Salon
Each Fred. Olsen cruise ship has a well-equipped beauty salon and spa: the Atlantis Spa and Fitness Centre. Open from 8am to 8pm daily, they offer a range of beauty and relaxation treatments, including massage, facials, manicures, pedicures and hair dressing.
Demand for treatments is always high, so it is advised to book as soon as possible after you embark, or pre-book by emailing the Spa on board your cruise ship.
Golf Nets
You can practice your golf swing to your hearts' content using the nets aboard all four of our cruise ships.
Fitness Centre & Sauna
Again, all four of our cruise ships have the same high standard of facilities: enabling you to enjoy a fully equipped fitness centre, with treadmills, rowing machines, exercise bikes and a variety of free weights on your cruise holiday. On Boudicca, the Fitness Centre has recently been repositioned high up on the Sun Deck, so that you can enjoy panoramic views while exercising.
A choice of fitness classes, to suit most levels, is available throughout your cruise holiday, including yoga, aerobics, stretch & tone and pilates; all conducted by fully-qualified fitness instructors. A small charge is made for some classes.
Additionally, you may wish to 'smile a mile' (5 times walking around the cruise deck on Black Watch and Boudicca equals 1 mile) or swim a few lengths in the pool.
And then, there is always the sauna and steam room for post-fitness relaxation! (Please note: there is no sauna or steam room on Balmoral).
On port days, there are often special promotions on spa and salon treatments, so it's worth looking out for those in the Daily Times newsletter, delivered to your cabin every evening.
Swimming Pool & Jacuzzi
There's an art to relaxation, and if your idea of a great cruise is taking in the sunshine on deck between ports of call, then an occasional dip in the pool or Jacuzzi will be right up your street!
Library
All our cruise ships have a well-appointed library on board offering a wide range of books, including some large print books.
Gaming Tables
There is a small gaming area on all four of our cruise ships, where you can try your hand at Blackjack and Roulette. Please note that games of chance may not be charged back to your cabin account.
