Local delicacies
Visiting Norway's colourful towns provides the perfect opportunity to sample the local delicacies in the restaurants and shops.
A visit to Bergen's famous fish market offers the chance to wander the quayside and watch the freshly caught seafood go straight on sale.
At Honningsvag (North Cape), why not join the 'King Crab' tour and you will be able to see and taste some of these magnificent crustaceans.
Cooking Master classes
On board two of the Braemar's cruises (M1012 and M1018), when the ship is in Bergen, our friends at the Norwegian Seafood Centre have devised a series of food demonstrations and activities which will provide guests with a truly unique seafood experience. As well as focusing on the taste, the programme will also give a fascinating insight into the history, traditions and development of the local seafood cuisine.
